Hey Guys, Looking for suggestions for good music for running. High beats per minute song titles from dubstep, pop, alternative rock or really anything except country lol

On your mark, Get set, Go!

Step 1: Put 80s thrash metal on your music player
Step 2: Run to said thrash metal matching your strides to the music
Step 3: Enjoy your world records and Wheaties box picture

@yusaku02-- I like the way you think!

I'd add Massive Attack, Flogging Molly, and.. oh I dunno... Velvet Revolver?

In addition to the regular grunge that never gets old.

For fun, lighthearted running, I love Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They do punk covers of oldies and classics.

For kickbutt running, viking metal like Amon Amarth.

Two of my favorites to loose myself in:

    Bonfire - knife party
When the lights are down - kamelot

For some reason when these two come on I'm ready to just go!

I second Disturbed and also like Muse, Apocalyptica, and Shinedown. I like so much music I had to create a few playlists for all of them, but right now these are my go to's.

Also I love Reign, Into the Red, and Lost But Won by Hans Zimmer (from the Rush soundtrack). They're motivational and inspiring at the same time.

RATM is fantastic for running. I'm a hip hop girl, and mostly run to that. However I'll have my days of throwing on some ani d. and jamming down the beach to that. and yeah, again Rage is pretty fricken badass.

Podrunner - you can find on itunes (podcast)... music specifically for running. No matter my mood or physical being (tired, exhausted or fatigue) I know in 5 minutes I will be in a zone. You can download anywhere from 125 - 180 bpm episodes.

My running playlist features a lot of industrial, but the BPMs weren't quite up to my standards, so I adjusted them with Audacity. Ministry's "Just One Fix" sounds absolutely MANIC at 170 BPM. Prodigy's "Voodoo People" is another favorite, and the best song on the mix is Eisenfunk's "Pong" which I found on YouTube. YouTubeToMP3 is another great resource.

I really like rockmyrun.com - playlist are on the site according to bpm, so I can choose music to work on my cadence. You get one free download per month (usually 30-45 min of music) or you can pay a small fee for more if you want. Great site!
