For most people, 100 calories is going to be within the margin of error that comes with calorie counting. It shouldn't hurt you at all.

How many days were you more than 100 calories below your goal? How much are you trying to lose per week?

Well, considering it takes 3500 calories OVER maintenance to gain 1 lb, I really doubt it'll do anything at all.

So if maintain is 2140 I need to eat 5190 a day to gain weight?

If you ate 5190 a day that would be the calorie equivalent of gaining a pound a day. Which is next to impossible to do.

Also your math would be for a surplus of 3,050 when a pound is =3,500 calories.

How can you have been deiting for 300 days and let cico evade you?
Everything is estimates so as said above 100 is easily within the margin of error.
100 calories is the equivalent of 1/35th of 1lb.

No, that would be equivalent to gaining a pound a day. If you consistently ate 500 calories over maintenance, you would gain a pound a week.

100 calories once in a while is nothing to worry about.
