This is true... I just start it over and play it again lol0 -
It's a hard choice - system of a down "prison song"
Rage against the machine "freedom"
acid bath - "dope fiend"
I am a pretty positive and spiritual person but I get a much better workout when I get pissed and rage it up.0 -
"You're gonna go far kid" by the offspring. Definitely pumps me up!0

i am an old rock and roll guy who loves tunes ranging from early "Who" through Big Hair to Progressive to modern. For workouts, I mostly go old school, but lots of stuff to like in the last 10 years. Just some stuff that comes to mind...
1. Pretty much anything by AC/DC
2. Pretty much anything by Van Halen
2. Welcome to the Jungle and other songs by GNR
3. Enter the Sandman - Metallica
4. Aerosmith
5. NIckleback has some solid songs.
6. Vertigo - U2
7. Several songs from the movie soundtrack to "Heavy Metal"
8. Handful of Def Leppard such as Pour some Sugar on Me; Rock of Ages, Lets Get Rocked
9. The Who - Baba O'Riley, Who Are You, Eminence Front, Pinball Wizard to name a few
10. Collective Soul had some up beat tunes - Gel, Precious Declaration, Heavy
11. Seven Nation Army, Icky Thump, and Catch Hell Blues by the White Stripes.
I'll stop now, my playlists are endless.0 -

Yes!! This is my go-to for those times I'm sure I just won't make it.
Also - a little embarrassing - I like to end my runs with the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song Such a good score!0 -
Eminem - Till I Collapse0

I like goofy songs to get me started, like "Juicy wiggle" by Renfoo, "baby got back" by Sir Mix-a-lot, "rump shaker" by Wreckx-n-Effect, or "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. When I am struggling and want to quit, "Let me clear my throat - old school" by DJ Kool always gets me back in the workout. I love the "you tired yet? h*** no! you ready to quit? h*** no!" part of this version!0

Might sound weird since the song has nothing to do with motivation, by I find that "Closer" by NIN has this primal energy that really helps me push through the toughest of workouts.0
