Scale Won't Budge

Last week I posted about not losing any weight after having a great week and feeling great. I ate clean all week that week however, I didn't eat all of my calories...as a matter of fact I was way under many days so this last week I decided to eat my calories and see what happens. Again, I was feeling great about my week. I do feel better but that's not the point. I again didn't lose any weight and I don't understand. I have been dieting on and off my whole life, I know how to eat right. This time I decided to change my life, take my life back, I mean it this time. I want to lose this weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I work out 6 days a week doing Turbo Fire which is a high intensity cardio kickboxing workout. I eat a salad every day for lunch, a healthy salad without dressing. I eat a lean protein for dinner with a vegetable and last week I added a small about of carbs or I would have another salad. I drink at least 100 ounces of water every day. What is wrong with me?? I feel like I should be losing 2 pounds a week and I personally don't think that is unrealistic at all. I am busting my *kitten* here and the scale just won't budge. I am not giving up but I seriously can't deal with this!! I am more motivated than ever before to make this change....what gives??

The first question you'll usually get is, do you use a food scale to weigh everything you eat?0

If you dont lose weight you are not in a deficit
So eating less than you burn
Eating right or clean has nothing to do with it...Its all about HOW MUCH you eat.
Open you diary will help other members to see if there is a logging issue
And yes you need to weigh all your solid food ( dont use cups and spoons or serving sizes) on a food scale to know how much calories you eat.0 -
What portion sizes do you eat? Also, you need to mix up your diet some. If you generally eat the same thing, the initial affect of it will wear off. Always go for variety when trying to lose weight. When you aren't drinking water, what are you drinking?
Eat some more protein (in moderation). It helps build up your muscles which will help you lose fat. It sounds like with the exercise program you are doing, on top of what you are eating, that your body will store everything it can as fat. It doesn't sound like you are eating sufficient amounts for what your body needs. Try and eat at least 5 times in a day. 3 smaller meals and two snacks. That keeps your metabolism high and your blood sugars leveled. Also, try juicing. It works wonders!!0 -

no no no,
You lose weight when you eat less as you burn
What you eat, when, where doesn't matter at all ( as long you dont have any medical issues)
It is how much you eat!
And you wont build muscle in a deficit ( except for noob gains)

So much nope. You don't need to mix up your diet and exercise- you only need to eat less than you burn. Your body does not adjust to food and exercise to the point that you will stop losing weight in a deficit. Protein is good, but if you are eating in a deficit to lose weight, you will not gain muscle. Smaller meals don't matter and will NOT change your metabolism at all. Juicing is completely unnecessary.
Whew. Seriously, simplify it OP. Calories in vs. Calories out is all you need!0
