Morning all!

What's your opinion on going and getting your coffee from a coffee shop? Am I derailing what I'm trying to do? When I do I always get non fat and sugar free. Or is it just better to make it at home?

Thanks

You log it, right? And it fits in your calories?

I get FF SF coffee from the drive thru periodically & just fit it into my caloric budget for the day... No worries

Your coffee (or any other food) will only derail your progress if it takes you over your calorie goal.

I get "to go" coffee pretty much every day. 98% of the time is's hot, black, with no sugar; 20 or fewer calories (depending on what you use on MFP). You get used to it after a while, and can actually start telling the differences between different brands because you're no longer masking the taste with cream and sugar.

Does not always need to be fat free and sugar free. I like almond milk occasionally. Just watch out for the fancy coffees which could have 500 or more calories in one drink.
