Beautiful weather for a good 10k this morning. Will do another mile on the treadmill after supper so tomorrow I'll just need a 5k to reach my goal!!!

Ouch. Get some moisture wicking and that should solve your problem. My daughter swears by Swiftwick, but I'm an Under Amour girl.

Close, but I managed at least a short 3.3km run this morning, so that I've now reached my July goal.

The one-month-trial gym membership I currently is really eating up time I would have otherwise used for running. If I stick with that, I think I'll need better time management skills... Let's see what August will bring.

Well done everyone this month - lots of amazing performances all around :)

I would like to join this! I was a runner all through middle and high school and really want to get back into it! I'm going to set my monthly goal of 50 miles but shoot for more.

    7/2 4.5 @ 12:42 treadmill
    7/3 4.5 @ 13:58
    7/4 5 @ 11:54 treadmill

    7/6 4 @ 12:00 treadmill
    7/8 5.5 @ 11:42 treadmill
    7/9 6.5 @ 11:41 treadmill
    7/10 3 @ 10:47 treadmill (good time for me!)
    7/11 2.5 @ 12:54

7/13 3.5 @ 11:55/15 splits (half was walking with friends)
    7/14 3.75 @ 12:40 treadmill
    7/15 6.25 @ 13:40
    7/16 2 @ 15:00 (walking with friends)
    7/17 4.25 @ 13:41
    7/18 4.75 @ 13:24

    7/20 5.25 @ 11:57 treadmill
    7/21 3.5 @ 12:12 treadmill
7/22 7.25 @ 13:54 (my fastest mile was 12:51--on a blacktop path. The gravel felt especially loose today, otherwise...or maybe it was just me, lol.)
7/23 1.5 on the treadmill @ 13:00 ; I was in so much pain...so I went swimming after doing arms. Felt much better!
    7/24 4.5 @ 12:29 (a good time outdoors for me!)
7/25 3.5 @ 12:03 --an experiment running outdoors on pavement vs. the normal gravel lake run. I was definitely faster! But my trail shoes were also completely insufficient and my arches were quite painful by the end of the run and into Sunday (a rest day). Today I got new inserts for the trail shoes, but I won't make the mistake of wearing them on pavement again!

7/27 3.5 at 10:55 on the treadmill, since it was really muggy/rainy this am!
7/28 3.5 at 11:11 on the treadmill (and a butt-kicking strength training day, but not *all* legs, lol!)
7/29 5.0 at 12:48 in soup this morning. I was trying an interval program, but found I couldn't hear it at all when on the main roads. I followed this up with an even soupier hike at a local state park with the kiddos for 2.25 at 20:50.
7/30 4.5 at 12:18 on the most boring road ever. I will be so glad when this humidity breaks.

    104.25/100 for the month

Did some treadmill work earlier in the day due to rain and ended up doing a long 5 mile fartlek for my final speedwork session tonight as there were just too many flooded streets for doing any type of regular distance interval. Done!

@GBrady43068 Good job on registering! Is this your first race?!

Not my first, no.,I've done a 5K each of the last two years but this will be the longest one I've done so far.

5 miles this morning. So much for running at 5am to escape the heat/humidity - 27C/80F and 94% humidity :-(

Finishing off the month with 8 miles of hills. While I could do another 8 tomorrow to hit my goal I am not going to do that because tomorrow is a scheduled rest day ahead of back to back long runs. So I came up 8 miles short...but I'm still happy because 192 miles is still my highest ever monthly mileage.

    7/1 - 12 miles
    7/2 - 6 miles (18 miles total)
    7/4 - 16 miles (34 miles total)
    7/5 - 12 miles (46 miles total)
    7/7 - 6 miles (52 total)
    7/8 - 12 miles (64 total)
    7/9 - 6 miles (70 total)
    7/11 - 16 miles (86 total)
    7/14 - 6 miles (92 total)
    7/15 - 12 miles (104 total)
    7/16 - 6 miles (110 total)
    7/18 - 16 miles (126 total)
    7/19 - 12 miles (138 total)
    7/23 - 12 miles (150 total)
    7/25 - 14 miles (164 total)
    7/27 - 11 miles (175 total)
    7/28 - 9 miles (184 total)
    7/30 - 8 miles (192 total)

    Goal 200 miles
