Hey you already posted this!? ("How out of shape am I" in the motivation forum) This isn't that type of site where we rate people's bodies. It's about support for health and what you're doing is obsessing about other people's perceptions of your body. I really hope you can learn to love yourself regardless of weight. If you want to lose weight MFP is a good place to start but you're not going to find many people willing to indulge your body image issues. Sorry for the tough love.0

Totally agree. Nothing any of us can say will fix the way you're thinking/feeling.0 -
Yep. Don't know why you have posted it twice, but people are going to say exactly the same thing to you here that they said there.
If you are posting it again because you didn't get the compliments you were fishing for in your first post, I'm afraid posting twice is not going to change that. Also, it is against the forum guidelines.
I responded nicely to your other thread about your self-esteem issues, but the quote above your picture in this one tells me that you want others to judge your weight; be careful what you wish for, because if you want my honest option, I can guarantee it is one you probably won't like or want.
As another poster said-tough love.0 -

What does your doctor say? Have you measured your body fat percentage? Calculated your BMI? Even compared yourself to one of those charts?
Truthfully, to me you look like you are carrying excess fat, particularly abdominally. But my opinion means nothing.0 -

I suggest calipers (all gyms will have them along with a trainer who knows how to use them well) for testing if you're unsure and want to know. It's the cheapest way to find out and relatively accurate. No one can tell you much from a photo.0 -

Ok so are you going to do anything about this or are you just fine with it?

Thin, average, etc. are matters of opinion so asking on a public forum is not going to have much affect on what you think of yourself. How does your height and weight fit into the BMI scale? While not a perfect measure, its a starting point. Perhaps aim for goals to improve health & fitness, and if you feel you need to lose weight and/or tone up - work on those goals as well?0
