I already know I am thin but before I wasn't sure. I am just helping you guys with a great idea that you can try, that will make you feel good about your weight! :)

    Self-delusion isn't a helpful weight loss tool.

It's sort of like someone might want to be respected at their job but their boss is rude to them, so they might tell themselves that their boss is nice to them. And that would make them feel good.
I don't believe in lying to myself just to feel good.
Either I am fit and healthy or not but a work in progress. That's OK; however, my thoughts will be positive and rooted in reality.

I look very thin in my pictures which I like.
Thin is subjective... what one considers thin, others may think is "normal" or even have some weight to lose.

My idea of thin at 5'3" would probably be in the 105 lb range (bottom end of "normal" on the BMI scale), unless you happen to have low BF% then you may look "thin" at a higher weight.

If what you think is the only thing that matters, why did you post this thread?

I think I am helping to think in a positive way - the law of attraction, if you will.

What are you talking about now?

I do not think that saying means what you think it means

This is the THIRD TIME TODAY you have posted these pictures; both times, you didn't get people telling you how skinny they think you are and so have posted this again. It doesn't matter how many times you re-post, people are not going to tell you something different or that they don't think is true. I'm being blunt here.

The majority of people have told you; we're worried you have self-esteem issues, and that losing weight is not going to help that in the long run. Your posts are suggesting a lot of insecurity and some disordered thinking when it comes to food, and this isn't healthy for you. You need to talk to someone about these issues before you do yourself some harm, and it is not worth it. Confidence comes within; sure a few pounds off might help, but it won't bring you eternal confidence or happiness.

I'm sorry to get all angry, but the nice approach doesn't seem to be going in so far today.

I will ask again because this thread will get thrown away anyways. Does having love handles mean you are not thin?

I want to look thin so I think it's better to believe I am thin.

No, if you want to look thin it's better to change your habits and do the work necessary to actually be thin. Thinking it doesn't make it so.

Based on the height and weight you posted, you are on the higher end of the normal weight range. Based on the pics you posted, you are not a low body fat high muscle mass type. Those two factors combined...along with the extra weight you carry in the abdominal area which is visible in the pics...mean that you are not thin. You are very likely a healthy weight, but not thin.

If being thin is important to you, change your habits. If you are happy with how you look, then that's great...keep doing what you're doing.

Honestly, the pics make you look a bit overweight..which is fine, I'm overweight, and I'm working on it but no worries..

Well I don't really need to lose any pounds because I'm already very thin, it would be quite unhealthy of me to lose some weight. I am having some people over next week and I plan to make a seafood salad and serve some Greek yogurt :)

Sorry but at 5'3" 130 you could lose 25lbs and still be in the "healthy" weight range category. That said you are already in the healthy category, so you are not what would be considered thin, but you would be what is considered "healthy". Healthy =/= thin

Here's how you sound to me, OP:

"I will reiterate my random, rambling statement and then change the subject to something only tenuously related."

Do you live with anyone? Will anyone be checking up on you today? I think you should tell someone you trust that you're seeking attention by posting pictures of yourself in underwear on a public website.

Daniel you are delusional. I am incredibly thin. Yes my name is Hary. No if I lost 25 pounds I would be way too skinny and it would be dangerous for me.

then why on your profile does it say you are trying to lose 20lbs? That is only a 5lb difference.
