Not seeing any difference.

I am not seeing any difference in my weight. I feel like I am not losing any. If anything, I feel like I'm gaining weight and it's depressing me. I have been eating healthy or barely at all and exercising daily. Help?

How many calories do you eat a day? What is your current height and weight? Goal weight?0
-
Are you logging absolutely everything with a food scale?0

How long have you been on your diet?
How much do you have to lose and how much have you lost?
Why are you eating barely at all?
Are you doing strength training?
From what you post it seems like you are unrealistic and impatient.
Feeling like gaining feeling like not losing are not the same as actually doing so.0 -
not eating at all is not good, figure out how many cals you consume per day and start reducing them by abt 200-250 at first TRACK how many cals you burning, some ppl feel that they can do 45 mins of cardio a day and get results but you dont burn the same amount each time. Find out what your burning and how many cals your taking in keep reducing the cals id say once you start seeing weight drop and then its stops go ahead and reduce them again and incorporate more cardio. Numbers will not lie if you are sticking to a good diet and exercise you will see results0

Iam an impatient person, that's true. I log my workouts and food abd drinks every day. I am not sure why I haven't been eating a lot. Haven't been hungry I suppose. I have been restricting calories for a few weeks to a month now but I just started using this app like yesterday. Haha..not trying to be unrealistic.0

I am trying to lose nine pounds by September eighth or ninth.0
-
patience is key, but I get it we all want results fast. Just track your food make sure you are hitting that daily target and track your workouts i guarantee you see results 9 pounds in a month is not an out of reach goal but it can be hard typically aim to lose 1 pound a week just gotta stay on it0

What is your starting weight? Nine pounds in a little more than a month is an aggressive goal.0 -
My goal is 1200 calories a day. I am five foot three and a half, almost five foot four and embarrassingly I am about 160 to 165.0

Did you get that calorie goal from MFP?0 -
You say your goal is 1200. How much are you actually eating? How do you know that's what you're actually eating?0
-
I got the goal from MFP. I ate way under my calories yesterday. Had like 700 calories for food and then burned almost 500 working out. I count calories on everything eat.0

ur not eating enough MFP is not accurate0

Netting 200 calories (which is what you did if you truly at 700 and burned 500) is a very bad idea. Your body needs energy to function, even while you're losing weight. And creating too large of a deficit will just cause your body to burn more muscle (as opposed to fat).
Is there a reason why you don't want to eat at least 1,200 calories?0 -
you can find all types of online info on how to calculate your maintenance cals and im guessing that be more accurate0

You say that you "feel" like you're not losing anything and that you "feel" like you're gaining. So my question would be this: are you actually weighing yourself and not seeing the scale go down at all or are you basing this on things like progress photos, measurements, how your clothes fit, etc?

Yeah, don't do this long term. You can hurt yourself eating that little.

I haven't gotten back on the scale yet. I'm scared smh.0 -
I have been looking at photos.0

If you are in a calorie deficit then you will lose weight, however you only started using this app yesterday so if you are weighing/measuring everything you eat and selecting accurate entries from the database then this will work for you. With the small amount you have to lose creating a large deficit to rush this will result in a disproportionate amount of your weight loss coming from muscle rather than fat. Slow and steady is the key here and you should really be setting a goal of 0.5 to 1.0 lb loss per week as the maximum0

A few weeks to a month is way too soon to see much of a difference in photos. Don't be afraid of the scale. It's just a piece of data.0 -

I had an appointment to count them but have been asking stupid Siri lately. How exactly should I be counting them?0 -
Ap not appointment.0

Are you using this app (MFP) to count them? How are you determining how much you actually ate?0 -

I have struggled with eating disorders since I was ten. When I gained all this weight so fast I got so disgusted with myself that I just don't want to eat too much.0 -

You should be weighing the food on a digital food scale and selecting the appropriate food from this database, accuracy is the key here

If you have a history of eating disorders, please seek help. What you are doing isn't healthy -- you need to speak with your treatment team. Good luck.0 -
