Machine and exercise suggestions?

Okay, so I really want to loose a couple inches around my waist and upper thighs. I'm doing alot of cardio which I know is suppose to help but what machines/exercises can I do to specifically target those areas?

Core workouts, if you have an instagram find the page Howtoshedfat they have videos of workouts you can do at the gym-1

There is no way to spot reduce fat. Targeting those areas will help you create muscle in those places, but not reduce fat.
Only reducing overall bodyfat by eating at a calorie defecit will help you lose inches in those places.
