I've not lost anything for weeks... a little advice?

Hi everyone, I'm hoping some of you might be able to offer some advice. I've been dieting with MFP for about 4 months. I have had steady success, I started at 214lbs and am now 191. I am male, 33, 6'1". MFP tells me that I should now be eating 1300 cals a day. On a weekday I usually burn 400 cals approx on the stepper machine (although I am dubious about the little computer!). I usually go over the 1300 but this is balanced out with the exercise.
A couple of weeks ago I made it to 190lbs, then at next weigh-in I'd gone up to 191 and that's where I've stubbornly stayed!
I know it's important not to give up but it's also quite demoralising to stop and be unable to restart!!
Your help, advice and experiences will be greatly appreciated!

A couple things I want to ask:

    (1) are you weighing the food you eat using a digital scale?

    (2) MFP told you to eat 1300? When did it tell you that? The minimum for males is usually 1500.

If you're weighing your food carefully to make sure your intake is accurate, you could definitely eat more than 1300.

Well something's wrong because your minimum should be 1500

    Thanks for the replies.

Yes, I use digital kitchen scales to weigh what I eat.

I have just run the MFP guided goal setup again. It looks like the question that could be stumping the me is "How would you describe your normal daily activities?". I choose "Sedentary", because I work at a desk all day, and that is the example they give. If I change it to "Lightly Active" it jumps up to 1610.

Do you think I may not be eating enough?

    Thanks again.

Also, change your goal to lose 1 pound a week, not 2.

Thanks for your input. I have updated the settings and I'll work to that. Fingers crossed! ;-)
