I started my weight loss journey in March 2015. I've now lost 50 pounds! My goal is a long way off, with another 100 or so waiting to be dropped =)

I've noticed something as I dig through old pictures for progress pics- 1) I used to avoid the camera like the plague, and 2) I could only find ONE picture of me standing up. Just yesterday I changed my MFP activity level from Sedentary to active, and it shows! I'm in my feet more now than I ever have been, when in the past, I'd be that chick on the couch.

Here's to 50 pounds, and being 1/3 of the way to my healthy state.

Cheers,
Jess

Thank you! I have a long ways to go yet (a long, long ways-- lol), but I am liking what I'm seeing!

I am going to get there or die trying =)

What's more amazing than the physical results (which, by the way, amounts to around 12 inches off of my body, overall so far) is the way I FEEL! I can't WAIT to go to the gym! I feel bummed out if I miss a workout day, and I'm very aware of what I am putting into my body. I have more energy, sleep better, am less crabby, and feel, in a word, STRONG! This is exciting =)
