How much water?

So I just joined a gym and they want me to drink a gallon of water every day. Granted I live in the So Cal desert where it is currently 118 degrees but that much. I might as well set up camp in the bathroom!

Ignore most of what you hear about food and drink from the gym. Your fluid intake will depend on what foods you are eating and your activity level. My fluid intake is about 6-8 cups per day (including soup and other fluids).0

Depends on how thirsty you are, I easily drink a gallon by the time I leave the gym - and that's only about 5 hours or less into my day0

If you're thirsty drink, if not don't it's that simple. Your food is around 70% water0
