I'm new to dieting, having never been on one in my life and am finding it all a bit daughting. Any general advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Jude ..Welcome to MFP..... think of it as a lifestyle change not a diet ....eat what you want just less of it ...don't deprive yourself ....and move more ....you got this ...you can do it :)

    Thanks, I think of this as being a lifestyle improvement. Treating myself to clean foods and moderating the rubbish I've become over reliant on. And I'll try to move more.
