I am one of those that needs music in my life, and am looking for anyone with some good recommendations for some good tunes for my workout iPod. Being 382 pounds, I am not able to do too much just yet, but I walk/jog/play basketball, and listen to anything. Gimme your best, people.

I personally appreciate Contemporary Christian music. My favorite motivator band is the Casting Crowns, while MercyMe has some great fast songs as well as slow but inspiring songs. Third Day offers some good rock and roll, as well as the perfect cool-down song (Let Me Love You). I hope these help!

Scorpions - "Rock You Like a Hurricane" has a great BPM for a walk.

That song hypes me up so much for exercise.

Beats per minute also help me. It keeps my pace on track.

This site allows you to put your pace in (minutes per mile) and gives you a list of songs for that pace. You can then narrow the list by genre.

    https://walk.jog.fm/

It lets you put in jogging and cycling too.

    A few on my playlist:
The Kinks You Really Got Me 142
    Robert Palmer Simply Irresistible 143
Huey Lewis & the News The Heart of Rock & Roll 143
KISS Rock and Roll All Night 142

You will find on my Ipod a variation of music from Godsmack to Barry Manilow. I also have a lot of dance music and country on there too. My fav is Godsmack though.
