Vegetarians/vegans with open diaries?

Hi MFP community! I've been vegetarian for three years and I've been using MFP for about a month. It seems that most people keep their diaries private, but I find it helpful to look at what others are eating for food ideas.

My protein and fat intake is consistently lower than recommended, with higher on carb side from all the veggies and fruit. I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing but I'm looking for more protein ideas without resorting to bars and powders. I do eat fish about once or twice a week. Every tempeh recipe I've tried has not turned out so nice- so any recipe sharing would be great. I have a couple of good tofu recipes so looking to trade those too.

Good luck to everyone on your weight loss journey! Thanks!

Hello! My diary is full of no nos as I've been just dabbling on the vegan/vegetarian idea. But I would love to be part of a support system to keep me on track. It's really hard for me because
    1. I'm new at it somewhat
    2. I work in fast food..no other choice for now
    3. I'm the only one in my family.
I have watched videos, voiced my opinions, had to explain myself countless times, and I have cookbooks

Egg white omelettes with lots of chillies and asparagus/broccoli on the side - low cal, high protein... Yummy
ps add a bag of spinach fresh from a blast in the microwave for more low cal goodness...

I could have written this as well (except for working in the fast food industry). Please include me in any support groups as well. I've come to realize that I need to avoid animal proteins in my diet to the extent that I can. Not always easy for me. Family members think I'm crazy and some are offended when i don't jump at what they've cooked. However, I've started to remove meat and dairy milk from my diet to an extent, but not entirely. I'm working at removing more and more.
