I'm actually working on the Ripped in 30 right now, through August. I did it before, and still love it (more than the 30 day shred) Keep going, girls!

Day 2 of level 1 done, feeling good but think I'm going to ache tomorrow! Inspired by the fact that my four year old is at a swimming party this afternoon...feel self conscious enough in normal clothes, not looking forward to getting on a swimming cozi! He'll have a fabulous time though so looking forward to that!

That's how I felt on day 2 when I woke up but I pushed through it and was glad I did! Rest day here and it's day 5 level 3 tomorrow!

Day 4 level 1 done. I knew I'd have no time today as its a hectic one so dragged myself out of bed and straight into my workout gear just after six when my four year old came through and went and did it then. Felt it at the time but very chuffed with myself now and think it's motivating me to make better food choices too.

Just wondering, do people generally take rest days (I'm feeling very achey!) and if so, how often? I should be able to get to kick boxing tomorrow night so won't do the shred but think I will be feeling it big time Wednesday morning so not sure if I should take it easier or power through?!

I've been taking 1 rest day a week. It's usually Sunday because I'm busy getting everyone and everything ready for church. I suppose I could do it earlier if I wanted, but I've ready you should only do like 5-6 days a week exercise regimen. I could be wrong with that though.

You're almost halfway through! I know it can be frustrating when the scale doesn't move the way we want it to. I just finished the shred last week, and I only lost a total of 1.5 lbs total doing it. When I stepped on the scale that last day, I cried. I had tried sooooo hard, and finally completed a workout, which I had NEVER done before. Then I took my measurements.... I lost over 9 inches from all over my body! Two and a half along from my waist alone. I think, in my case, because I had barely ever worked out, I am still holding a lot of water weight. Maybe that is what is keeping that weight almost the same. Or maybe I am replacing some fat with muscle? Im not really sure, but something is happening. Those inches are proof that all my hard work WAS paying off, cause I was building muscle. I know completing that program made me stronger. Although I didn't lose anywhere near 20 lbs, as it says on the box, it was an awesome first step on my fitness journey! Just wanted to share that with you!

You guys are doing awesome! If you choose to do another round, some things you can do to continue to push yourselves:

    1) Do round 1 a second time in a row (or as far into is as you can before you collapse).
    2) Add heavier weights.
    3) Keep pushing yourself to do just 1 or 2 more reps on the advanced before you drop to modified on the tough moves.
    4) If there is a move in round 1 that is too 'easy' sub it out for a tougher move from round 2 or 3.

    Keep up the great work!

We are all on different days of different levels, and glad you are joining us! I'm starting again at level 1 after tomorrow.
