I knew George Benson, but he's not an Oklahoma native.
I believe she was looking for Leon Russell??
Anywho, here's an easy one, heard it in the car yesterday with the full intro:

    Eons/ Eastern seabord city

Yes, Leon Russell was correct. His alter ego, Hank Wilson, recorded the country music.

I just heard an old AT40 countdown with Alice in it.

Stumblin In + Living Next Door to Alice = [singer]

Those are two songs. The first is a duo that only did that one song as far as I know. The second was by a group. There is a singer in common with them and that's what I was looking for. Maybe it's too obscure but they were both pretty decent hits back in the day (I think in '79 and '77).

    Chris Norman.

Hadn't thought about Stumblin' In for years & Livin' Next Door to Alice was one of those songs, that the boys on the bus always sang their own version of!

Easter candy that's not Peeps or chocolate... also an Android version (1959 yay!) / Herman & Lily's pride and joy + this Johnny Jr. was lead counsel for OJ = song/artist

I was coming up empty on the one word. A quick search with the other three filled in the blank. I'll sit in the penalty box for a few hours in case someone else isn't having a brain fart.

    Eddie Cochran -- Jelly Bean

If you're an iPhone user the Android reference probably didn't help, but for me that nailed down the Easter candy. President Reagan would have been a good clue for that.

    deckerp, you are correct.
Yes, I'm an Android phone/tablet user (the exception being my wonderful, 160gb classic ipod), so that stump never occurred to me. :D Of course, President Reagan! I'd forgotten that fun fact, lol

    Peter Cetera + slumber party = [band/song]

One of their later hits but it did make a Greatest Hits compilation.
