You click on the profile name then click 'view diary'. If their diary isn't open then you won't be able to see it.0 -
It also does not work on iPad. There is no option to view diary. All it ever says is " this user's feed is private."0

You can check mine if you like.0

works on my iPad. green button option is right under add as friend button IF they have diary set to public.
(i updated to current IOS version the other day, i do recall only seeing diary is private beforehand but, i did not really check many users so that could just be a coincidence)

Well i do'nt know how much you have to lose but if you are overweight, then you should be eating more than 1300 calories. You can read my food blog called Almost Vegan. Its in my news feed and on the blogs thing.0

Here is what I always see, even if someone has set their diary to public. No green button.

that is not what mine looks like. are you using the mobile site version? i use the desktop version of mfp (on ipad: when you are on mfp, click on browser address bar and choose "request desktop site"...if you don't see it, scroll up, it is at top).
lot's of websites these days automatically show you their mobile site and they often lack their full desktop features (like being able to see reviews on a few shopping sites) so you have to request to see their desktop site.0 -
Mine is open. I eat a LCHF diet, and try to stay in ketosis (less than 50g of carbs per day). I usually eat around 1400-1600 calories per day.0

Yes, using the mobile app. I will try accessing the desktopversion from my iPad.0

Some of the user diary's aren't open based on the desktop app. I have no idea if mine is, but I'm a newbie so I have an excuse.
Erin,
If your calorie goal is reasonable then it's just a matter of looking hard for the foods that make you feel full. I'm fairly new to this whole thing but have found "filler foods" such as salads, raw veggies, etc to allow me to graze without taking in a lot of calories. But I do feel your pain as well.... I've been looking hard for foods that make me feel full and still have decent nutrition. Greek yogurt and cottage cheese are two "go to" foods that fill me up reasonably.
If my diary is open, feel free to look... but be warned, it's at a goal of 2000 calories.0 -
Mine is open....I am at 1305 a day, (yesterday was stupid) but if you look back further you can see. For me it is all about LowCarbHighFat (Keto) diet. So it might not help you, but the high fat keeps me full all day and I don't get hungry and resort to snacking.0

Mine is open. But I have been eating quite a bit of chips and pizza lately (staying in my goals, but maybe not the best inspiration )0
