struggling to eat healthier and lose pounds

Hi all, today is my first attempt at eating healthier and keeping track of it. I am liking the idea of the paleo diet and trying the wildrose herbal detox diet plan to kickstart weight loss and my motivation. I am 41 years old, a mother of three and feeling blah about my size. I 'd like to see quick results!!

Welcome. It's great that you're wanting to change your lifestyle. You don't need to eat Paleo or do detoxes to lose weight. You just need to eat at a deficit - less calories in than calories out. Also detoxes aren't a real thing. Your liver and kidneys do any detoxing your body requires. Do it even you want but just be aware that the 'quick results' that can come from 'detoxes' often return very quickly. The weight you lose is mostly water and glycogen stores which return once you start eating properly again.
