@kkenseth haha you're welcome! Haha Autumn lasts about a day up here and when that day hits I'm going to Denali because I've heard it LOOKS beautiful in the Fall time lol

    Denali is my favorite!!

Yeah, I was there two summers ago. We were in a tiny town near Palmer most of the time and traveled to Anchorage and Denali.

17 pounds in 46 days is a little more than 2.5 pounds a week. If your doctor wants you to lose faster than that, find a new doctor.

@jkal1979 I guess I'm one of those people that believe doctors and I actually believed that I was suppose to be losing fast then what I have been. Kinda kills the motivation!

I have learned that Dr's are not always right, especially if it is not in the area of speciality. It took my primary doctor 4 years to take me seriously about my kidney stones. The result was emergency surgery a day after I saw a specialist to remove a stone that was blocking 90% of my kidney. I almost lost my kidney.

I also had a Nephrologist tell me that my pain in my flank was because of my extra weight. I wound up in the ER two weeks later with a kidney stone that was 22mm stuck in my ureter.

I have changed my Dr's to ones who I feel take me seriously and specialize in what I am seeing them for.

Not all army doctors are that bad! Just that particular one seems inept. When I lived in Germany, I had a good experience with most of the army doctors!
