Wonder Core - Reviews?

Hey! Has anyone tried the Wonder Core? I was looking to purchase a small piece of equipment to compliment my workouts and help target certain areas (core & arms). Looked like this piece of equipment focuses on the core but also gives a workout on arms, legs and overall cardio. Has anyone tried it yet? Just curious on opinions.

What are your workouts now? My experience is that things like that are typically a gimmick and an unnecessary waste of time and money. One thing to keep in mind is that if certain devices and supplements worked as well as advertised, you wouldn't need to ask because it would be so well-known.

Watched 13 seconds of their infomercial website......it's another gimmick, I wouldn't buy it. There are great core workout videos on YouTube for free.

If you're trying to reduce the fat layer there, realize that exercises don't target fat loss. For more on that, google "spot reduction myth".

If you're trying to enlarge the muscle layer (bulk up), there are better exercises for that. Let us know what equipment you have available.

Thanks everyone! I currently jog a couple times a week on a treadmill (C25K type program) for close to 30 mins and trade off between 21 Day Fix and 30 Day Shred videos. I find I am still not as strong as I would like to be in my core and thought the device would help with sit-ups/crunches making them easier so I can build. I also have a tough time doing pushups and thought the same with the Wonder Core to build up upper arm strength. But you are all right, there are probably better exercises I can do to target those areas better as well as just try slowly but surely to ramp up.
    Really appreciate your feedback!! :)

An easier version of pushups is incline pushups. Whenever they get easier, and you can do more around 12 reps, lower your hand position (or raise your feet up).

For abs, i like the ab wheel, since it works much of the upper body.

At some point, consider following a "real" strength training program, such as NROL or Stronglifts. :+1:
