Problem

I'm finding it very difficult to consume my projected calorie goal. I'm just not hungry and it's very frustrating that the app won't let me log in those days because it's under my goal.I don't want to have to start adding things that I haven't actually eaten simply to have my entry recorded because that would give me an inaccurate estimate of when I'll reach my goal weight.
Any ideas on how I can reach my caloric goal or tweak the app so it would work?

What is your daily allowance and how many calories are you actually consuming?
Are you getting your daily good fats allowance?
Other ways to boost calories is calorie dense food...nuts, seeds, eggs, avocado etc0 -
My daily allowance is 1200 but I just can't seem to be able to consume more than 800-900 a day. I've just completely lost my appetite for some reason! I'm worried that this will slow my metabolism down but I'm honestly not hungry I can't seem to be able to force myself to have any more food.
I do eat eggs but I rarely eat nuts or avocados simply because I never have them around.0 -

Go buy some nuts and avocado.
Have a handful of nuts and record it... I guarantee you will hit 1200 calories.0 -
High calorie foods is the answer... nuts (trail mixes), avocado, add cheese, butter, high calorie protein bar, fattier meats (red meats), peanut butter (even eating it out of the jar), ice cream, full fat yogurt.
Also, with very little to lose, your per week weight loss goal should probably be .5-1 lb per week.. what is your set at? Also, if you exercise, you need to eat more.0 -
I sometimes have this same problem. It is a side-effect of a medication that I take. I'll have days where I can easily consume my recommended calories and have periods of time where eating is a challenge. For the challenge days I've had to learn to eat calorie dense foods that pack a real punch in a tiny package. My go-to right now is cashews.0

Great advice above and you should try to hit your goal.
But, occasionally if you don't, your log is still there and viewable by anyone who normally has permission. It just doesn't post to your newsfeed. Or, use quick calories in a phantom heading you create or put a note in the notes section that these are phantom calories.0 -
So it's okay to have fatty foods? I was worried that might backfire but I guess I'll give it a shot. Unfortunately I do not exercise but I do lead a pretty active lifestyle. I currently weigh 115 lbs and my ultimate goal is 105 lbs.0

Fat is actaully very good for you and is essential for some vitamin and mineral absorption, healthy hair, nails, skin, digestive tract, etc. Dietary fat (fat you eat) does not cause body fat, excess calories do (eating above maintenance calories)0 -

one serving of ice cream is about 200 calories and you should not have any problem getting that down.
You need to be netting at least 1200 calories. If you can't then you need to seek some professional help. I can't for the life of me imagine how anyone can consume only 800 calories and not be hungry.0 -

why are you trying to lose ten pound??
what is your height??0 -
I'm getting a lot of good advice! Thanks guys! I especially like the ice cream suggestion
I'm trying to lose ten pounds because I feel like I would look and feel much better if I did so. I'm only 5'3 so I don't think that 105 lbs is unreasonable.0 -
Do you exercise?0

based on your profile picture you really don't need to lose ten pounds.
If you want to look better eat at maintenance or in a slight deficit and get on some kind of heavy lifting regimen like strong lifts or strong curves….

Did your set your account to lightly active and how many lbs per week did you choose. You are young and active, so you shouldn't be eating the same amount of calories as an older sedentary person.

http://www.strongcurves.com/
It's a progressive lifting program designed for women. It concentrates on most of their trouble areas or areas of interest (hips, butts, thighs, etc..)0 -

Yeah I did, I chose 1.6 lbs and the projected intake was 1200 calories which was fine at first I even used to exceed it at times but recently I stopped being able to even reach that.

with only 10lbs to lose you should choose a weight loss goal of 0.5 lbs/week, no more0 -

I chose that because I started at 130 lbs, these are basically my last 10 lbs, I guess I never thought of changing the settings. Thank you for pointing that out.0
