Seems to me it would be just as easy to boil a few eggs over the weekend to use throughout the week. But then, I never use a microwave. Pitched it about 20 years ago and have never missed the thing!0

Seems somewhat unnecessary - it only takes a few minutes to cook an egg in a pan, and if you cook it over easy (rather than scrambled) then there's usually not much of a mess to clean up. I do what the blog writer does and cook my egg while I'm eating oatmeal or cereal or something else. Just don't see why you need a gadget to do so. :: shrugs ::0

Great point - I didn't think to mention this. I do the exact same thing (hard boil eggs over the weekend that I use during the week)0 -
I boil a dozen eggs on the weekend and then keep them in the fridge for the week. That way they're ready and available for him to throw in his lunch bag in the mornings, and I can grab one anytime during the day!0
