Eating late dinners - Working out before or after?

Need a little advice. Here is my situation.. I work 9am-6pm Monday through Friday. I get home about 6:30pm.
I am not sure if it would be better to work out then eat a later dinner, or if I should eat then wait a half hour or so, then work out later. Are there any benefits to doing either? Or is it just kind of what fits me?
Thanks in advance for the advice

I would do whichever works best for you. Personally, if I can't workout before work, I workout immediately after I get home. Once I change out of work clothes and sit on the couch, I lose all motivation.0

Do what works best for you. I workout right after work and then have dinner after - around 9 or 10pm. Makes for an awful long time between lunch and dinner but if I went home and ate first I'd never work out!0

whichever you prefer...it really doesn't matter.
i usually hit the gym after work a couple nights per week...i'd never get there if i went home and had dinner first...it's game over after I get home. I eat dinner around 8:30/9:00 PM pretty much every night.0 -
I have the same schedule - I leave work at 6PM and head home to make dinner for myself & my partner which isn't usually ready until 7PM (I try to prep as much as possible the night before); we always eat prior to our work out, because unfortunately we don't make it to the gym until 8PM most of the time0

What works best. I prefer eating after gym. Sometimes that means dinner at 10.0

This is me. As a result, I will workout at 8 and have dinner at 9:30, since if I eat dinner first that's it.
If I can't workout before work or at lunch I often try to figure out a way to make my commute into the workout (like by jogging home).0 -

I feel like I should work out right when I get home then eat later. I know there was a few threads where I notice some were talking about eating late and that it's bad for your metabolism. So I was curious if others did have success with such a routine.
Thanks all for your input!0 -
