Couch to 5k

Hi, I'm a newbie and currently on week 5 of couch to 5k. I've 3 young kids and no babysitter so I bought myself an old 2nd hand treadmill and I can workout while they get their breakfast. I feel great after a good sweaty run but what exercise can I do on the rest days that will make me sweat but give my body recovery? Thanks in advance for advice.

    Some kind of bodyweght resistance programme would help to complement the running and deliver strength benefits. I like You Are Your Own Gym, but there are several out there.

    Those are competing goals, yes? To rest or not rest. Train or not train.
