Fitbit

Good evening all. I got a Fitbit for my birthday today and was wondering how to sync it to here so it takes off the calories I have burnt? I have managed to sort my steps out. Thanks in advance

    Connect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Set your goal to .5 lb. for every 25 lbs. you're overweight: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change_goals_guided

    Enable negative calorie adjustments: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

In the MFP app, go to More > Steps and choose Fitbit.

Ignore your Fitbit calorie goal and follow MFP's, eating back your adjustments. No need to log any step-based activity—your Fitbit is tracking it for you. Log non-step exercise (like swimming or biking) either in Fitbit or in MFP—never both. Exercise logged in MFP overwrites your Fitbit burn during that time.

I cannot get mine to sync. I have followed the directions and it sends me a message that i have an account already. So then i disconnect this account from Fit bit (i cannot find a link to disconnect it from MFP) but it continues to tell me there is already an account. Forced a sync. Still nothing. ???

    Disconnect your accounts at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Delete both apps. Restart your device, and reinstall both apps. Then follow all the steps in the previous post.

If that doesn't fix the problem, contact MFP customer service.
