Ready for "FEAR THE WALKING DEAD" series?
I am!!!!! Because it's in LA and I love watching LA bite it. Seasons 1-5 are marathoning on AMC on Sundays and they are showing lots of trailer ads on the new series. YEAH!!!!!!!!

So I watched it and can see that they are working on character development like the Walking Dead Series. I already see Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) becoming a developed buttkicker (ala Carol). Little slow for a premiere, but hey it's in LA.

I could go for that. The show is OK, but does not live up to the original, at least not as of the first 2 episodes.

I look at it this way. WD's adventures have been among sparse populations and with the exception of Atlanta, and the episode at the college, we've only seen zombies a few hundred at the most at time. We now get to see how a city of almost 4 million will deal with it.

I am not loving this series. Maybe it will get better. I find I really want to smack almost all the teens in this show. Except for Tobias who it seems is the only one who has ever seen a zombie movie, but he needs a bigger knife.0

I've seen the 1st episode, looking forward to watching the 2nd tonight ( I record and store on my HTPC ).
It did start slow, and I feel probably will remain so, when compared to the original. There wont be waves of zombies chasing ppl every episode ... its the genesis of the outbreak. Its about learning of it, and coming to the realization that it has started, and how the characters react.
The premise of where it starts, and the types of ppl that will 1st discover it is plausible, and the acting is sufficient.
Not sure it will reach beyond its core audience ( WD fans ), but I think it can be successful. I will give it at least half a season before I make any real judgements.
Cant be any worse than real housewives of Cleveland or any of the other "reality" shows on tv these days.0 -
I found the first episode slow, but the last 10 min were awesome! Had to record last night, but really looking forward to seeing it!0

Can't wait to see lastnights but the first was good. The slow character build up was needed!0
