I like Coke Zero, but I loathe Diet Coke. It tastes of nothing and is full of crap (so is Coke Zero mind).0

so i have glass of come zero a day
Who are we to judge?0 -
Coke Zero is my go to drink. I could drink a 2 liter a day (I'm trying to drink more water so I don't)0

lmao the typo is kind of, ah, you might want to fix that! XD0

Diet A&W.....mmmm (it's a reflux thing).0

I just read an article about the new offensive coordinator for the Oregon State Beavers football team. He drinks 16 to 18 diet cokes a day. He has for decades. He says, "every man has a vice, and if he doesn't, then he's lying to you."0

I think coke zero tastes so awful! I've always drank diet coke so I just prefer it.0

I like coke zero, (suprisingly pepsi max is OKAY too) and always go for the "zero" option first. I especially love the cherry and vanilla variety.
I can also drink the diet coke with no issues.
"Real coke" tastes horrible to me now. Almost coppery or tooth rotting.
Anyway, other than the bloating it can cause sometimes i experience no issues with it.
Hell, i'm drinking a coke zero right now.0 -

i'm sorry but this is not a reputable source and it's absolute bull$nit
edit: Oh good, you added something from the Daily Fail. That makes it even better.0 -
I am an addict of Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper0

Those were just a few links from Google. I've just read a lot of stuff about Artificial Sweetener. I personally don't drink any 'diet' drinks. If they don't contain sugar to make them taste sweet, then what the hell do they contain? Plus there's evidence to suggest that when you taste the sweet in diet soda, your body perceives it as sugar and causes the pancreas to release insulin just as it would if you were consuming actual sugar.
It's just my opinion.0 -
So drink a coke.0

I get migraines from some artificial sweeteners, but I like coke. So I limit it. I wish I could just sub a diet version, it would be easier.0

You get your own opinions but not your own facts. If diet soda did this, then doctors would not be recommending it to their diabetic patients. Unless you are a person who has some sort of adverse reaction to diet soda, it's fine to drink it in normal quantities. I would not recommend 16-18 as mentioned above.

I actually like coke zero quite well, I use it for rum and coke when my husband and I do burger night. I do prefer it to diet coke, I think there is a taste difference, but I'm pretty congenial and I'll drink whatever. 99% of the time I just drink water though

Anyone ever have Coke Light? It's not available in the US but I love it when traveling in other countries. Coke zero is my coke of choice here at home.

Diet soda contain a chemical called aspartame. It doesn't take much research on this chemical to realise that it isn't good for you. No sodas or diet sodas are good for you, they contain no nutritional value!0

....until empirical evidence came in. Uncontrolled sugar/insulin has such an immediate and obvious effect on the patient, if diet sodas did this we'd know by now.
My late father in law had two low blood sugar moments on my watch. We called 9-1-1 both times, and an intravenous of pure glucose revived him immediately. Because the impact of glucose on a diabetic in insulin shock is well-known. I can promise you that a shot of aspartame would have done nothing.0 -
