Awesome you loved it! My mom did bodypump for years and she absolutely loved it.0

I do combat from home it's fricking amazing and down nearly 5 stone0

Is that the Beachbody version? If so, which schedule do you follow? And how many rounds did you do?0
-
No, this isn't beach body, but I have don't the 21 day fix, 21 day fix extreme, and the T25 series. The Les Mills classes aren't a series with rounds, it's just ongoing fitness classes. So far I've tried body pump and body step and have loved both of them. Such good workouts!0

Thanks Sarah, that was actually for leahcollet1 (should have used quotes). Beachbody did do Less Mills Pump and Less Mills Combat for a while but the contract is at an end and they are no longer in a partnership.0

There is also a Les Mills On Demand site if you want to try some of the workouts at home - they offer a free 10 day trial and if you decide to sign up it is only $12.99/month. They currently offer Bodypump, Bodycombat, Bodybalance, CXWorx, RPM, Sh'Bam, and Grit. All the workouts are around 30 minutes - they are "master classes" that have been pared down in some cases: http://www.lesmills.com/ondemand/0

I thought they were fun but more for beginner. I prefer free weights at the gym.0

no sorry i buy the dvds off ebay and do them at home, each dvd is 50 minutes-1hr long depending if you do the abs section. i do want to try les mill on demand however im not keen on the fact that the classes are only 30 minutes.0 -
Thanks Leah. I've seen those DVDs, always wondered what they are exactly. I thought they were just recordings of Les Mills BodyCombat classes with head trainers and updated with new songs.
Thanks and well done on your weight-loss!0 -
Les Mills is my favorite thing ever. I have turned into a serious group exercise junkie because of them. I actually got certified to teach Les Mills GRIT and it has changed my life. I usually do Combat, Attack, Pump and sometimes RPM and Flow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE attack and can't wait until a training comes near my home so I can get certified to teach it as well.0

I'm a big fan of Les Mills classes. In fact, I did Body Attack tonight and I also do RPM. A lot of my colleagues do Body Combat and Pump. I thi j group fitness classes are a lot of fun. We've got some great Les Mills instructors in Sydney.0

whats the grit like? i did 64 yesterday, oh my lord sweat was pouring off me, it was really challenging, i bloody love it, although ive only relalised that as im getting fitter my calorie burn is reducing, what normalyy burned me 600 cals, is now only burning 470! booooooooooooooooo0 -
I've only done the pump, rpm, and step so far. All three were amazing workouts! I think pump is my favorite of the 3. I'm trying combat tonight and attack tomorrow. Both excited and terrified!0

If it wasn't for the Les Millles classes, I would never go to the gym. I just started a month ago, but I love Combat - I enjoy watching MMA, so in the class I pretend I'm in the octagon and really give the upper cuts, elbows and kicks everything I've got. I don't love the instructor but sometimes that motivates me more cos I pretend I'm givin' him the right hook I also love Pump - its amazing how much I feel I've improved even just in a month (both in form and amount of weight) and the instructor for that class really makes it enjoyable. I'm hoping to try out Attack in the next few weeks.
For reference, I'm quite overweight right now, and I manage to keep up pretty well. I agree with other comments the instructors make a world of difference, and even though I'm a metal girl at heart - the pop music really does get my toes tappin' and arms swinging.0 -
Genesis Gyms do the Les Mills Programme. I currently to Bodypump an CX works. As for Step, I am renaming it trip. Talk about two left feet.0
