Correct amount of protein in products

How can one tell if there truly is the stated amount of protein in a bar/shake/powder. I have read that some just add other stuff and we ate not getting the right amount. So if I rely on a product to give me that specified amount of protein. I want to make sure it's correct.

I use detour protein shakes, quest bars, pure protein. I just want to make sure that what I am using is correct and not lying to me.

Are you referring to amino spiking in whey protein?

Well you just gotta buy it from a reputable brand and hope for the best.

ON. Dymatize. Isoflex. Isopure. MTS. Quest Nutrition. Cellucor. MyProtein.

The ingredient list (if accurate) will have a lot of ingredients ending in -ine if the product is spiked with aminos to inflate the stated protein content.
