best way 2 lose it the 2nd time

I lost 20lbs several years ago injury led to no exercise (which i did 1.5 hrs most days) which led me back to binge/emotional eating. Now feeling stuck back at square 1. Shld i only do cardio and deficit of calories and then stregth again or keep the stregth? Feeling stuck.

    The only way to lose weight is to eat at a calorie deficit, so that's where you need to start. Anything else you do will be preference only.

    As above, you dont need to exercise to lose weight.

    Echoing the above posters ^^ :)

    A calorie deficit will cause weight loss. Of course, adding in exercise is recommended because it's beneficial to your health, heart, definition, etc but not vital - especially at the beginning of your journey.

    Further down the line, you may feel you want to introduce exercise (to earn yourself more food!!) or you may not. It's a preference. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!
