best way 2 lose it the 2nd time

I lost 20lbs several years ago injury led to no exercise (which i did 1.5 hrs most days) which led me back to binge/emotional eating. Now feeling stuck back at square 1. Shld i only do cardio and deficit of calories and then stregth again or keep the stregth? Feeling stuck.

The only way to lose weight is to eat at a calorie deficit, so that's where you need to start. Anything else you do will be preference only.

Echoing the above posters ^^
A calorie deficit will cause weight loss. Of course, adding in exercise is recommended because it's beneficial to your health, heart, definition, etc but not vital - especially at the beginning of your journey.
Further down the line, you may feel you want to introduce exercise (to earn yourself more food!!) or you may not. It's a preference. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!0
