    I've been under 110 lbs for 2 months and considered maintaining my weight under 110 lbs. It seems very hard maintaining and my weight slowly went over 112 lbs. With lower weight goal seems easier to achieve than maintaining.


    I know having the same trouble maintaining as you are having. And you thought the hard work was over. Until we figure it out it will be logging every day and making sure we do not go over on our calories. Every day can be different depending on the amount of calories burned. Hard line to balance on. But there are a lot of us working on it. if you figure something out to do this let me know too. :smiley:

    @belgarath64 Thanks for your quote! I do love to eat variety of food and not the same thing over and over again, that makes maintaining weight harder for me too

    Success/struggles this week: This is both a Struggle and a Success for the week.... it consisted of a family reunion on the holiday weekend. But I drank lots of water and stayed away from the breads and desserts. I did eat lots of fresh fruit instead and was not feeling like I was missing anything.

    Successes/struggles this week: I'm struggling to work out. Just feel sluggish and heavy. Also, it takes an effort to log. I want to keep losing weight, but I'm so tired at this point. I will keep logging and exercising for at least two hours a week, even if I'm in maintenance for a while. I need a mental break but I won't give up.

    Stella, we are same age n height (close enough) so if it motivates you... catch me if you can :wink: I am cheating a bit as I started at 148, rather than 150. One week and getting my hydration back to normal I am now 145 pds. I love your goal. Realistic. Now my hydration is normal again the hard work starts so how about I will target 140 this month and race (if you want)

    Successes/struggles this week: Even though I've gained, I'm not too disappointed with this number. I've been on a binge since the beginning of the month. It happens every time I get sick (double ear infection, sinus infection, and pneumonia). Because I've been sick, I also have struggled to work out. I'm now on the mend and back on the wagon so I hope that next week will show a loss. Still, I'm proud that I kept track of every stinking calorie (even though it made me cringe) and I didn't binge nearly as much as I could have which is why I only gained .2lbs. I'm not going to cry over that. I'm just going to pick myself up and dust myself off and keep going.

    Successes/struggles this week: Success being more focused and cutting out sugar apart from one slice.
    Struggle: still snacking after dinner; trying to compensate lack of sugar with carbs!!!
    Know this week was great weight loss but suspect due to recent gain – easily comes off when recent for me – won’t be as simple and as much going forward.
    Daughters birthday party tonight – and making Pavlova at her request – struggle not to have a piece but am determined.
