I have the same question - did you get any replies? I'd like to log in a Crossfit workout without adding each individual exercise...somebody must have done that before...0

Circuit training?0

It's more a mix of cardio and strength training with weight lifting0

I wear a HR monitor and have a Polar M400 watch. I take the calorie burn I get from it (using a Crossfit Sports Profile) and plug them into a cardiovascular exercise in MFP that I created. I wouldn't try to do it under Strength. I don't even use that for pure gym strength training.
If you have no idea how many calories you are burning, that's another question. I'm guessing you could find some articles online that discuss average calorie burn per XX minutes of Crossfit. I burn around 550 calories in an average intensity session (according to my HR monitor). Extremely intense sessions get my burn up to 800-900 calories. The 9/11 WOD we did last week was my highest ever at just under 1,100 but that had running and rowing as bookends.
I think an important question is, do you want to enter your calorie burn so you can see what you did, or do you plan to eat the calories from your burn? Also, are you eating at a deficit, maintenance, or positive caloric level?
The answers to these questions go to how accurate you need to be.
I personally record my calorie burn so I can see what I did, but I don't eat those calories since I use TDEE to set my daily goals. For that reason, if there is any inaccuracy in my burn rate due to using a HRM, it doesn't hurt me.0 -
You aren't going to get the calorie burn at all accurately, so will just have to estimate it. Lots of people create their own custom "crossfit" workout. I tend to log either circuit training or some combination of strength and circuit training depending on the specific WOD. But I have been mostly doing TDEE method so give it 1 calorie anyway.0
