Hi Chio, Sounds like you are doing something right, since you've lost inches. The weight is most likely added muscle (which weighs twice as much as fat). Are you logging all of your food? That really helped me.0

Hi, are you measuring everything you eat with a scale and counting the calories?0
-
Well if you lost inches, that's great! Even with water retention from added exercise, you should be seeing a drop on the scale by now. You mention "eating healthy" but don't mention staying within a calorie deficit. Have you been weighing your food on a scale and eating the appropriate amount of calories, the amount MFP gives you?
Also, you don't need herbalife shakes for weight loss. If you want a shake, fine. Just make sure to be tracking the calories.0 -

1lb of fat = 1lb of muscle? Muscle is more dense then fat.0 -
yes im counting calories, i eat 1300 a day, based on this app. I only lost 2 pounds0

But how are you "counting calories"? Are you weighing all your food on a food scale?0

Open your diary.

I'm confused, are you the same weight or down 2 lbs?0

If she's in a deficit, chances are she's not gaining significant mounts of muscle.
1lb of fat = 1lb of muscle? Muscle is more dense then fat.
so im just replacing fat with muscle?? is that maybe why im not losing weight?0 -

No. You're not.
As I said, open your diary so we can see your logging.

Well that's why you're not losing weight.
You need to weigh every single food item that passes your mouth to know how many calories you're eating daily.
Buy a food scale and weigh your food.

Logging accurately requires two things.
First, you need to be sure you're using accurate entries in the database. A lot of the user entered entries are wrong or incomplete. Be sure you're choosing entries that match what you are eating. Use the recipe builder if you're cooking at home. Double-check entries against your food's label, even when using the barcode scanner.
And second, you need to know how much of something you ate. This is where a food scale really helps. If you log a serving of, say, chicken breast but actually eat closer to two servings, then you won't get an accurate calorie count in the app and your weight loss is likely to slow or stall. Measuring cups and spoons are better than nothing, but a food scale is easy to use and much more accurate for most foods.0 -
The fact that you have lost inches is definitely a good thing, so well done :]
In regards to the actual 'weight' loss side of things - I'd suggest really tightening up your logging and weighing all necessary. I'd say you're definitely doing something right as you've visibly lost inches so if the tracking is on point too - perhaps speak to a doctor and voice your concerns. There may be some kind of underlining medical reason that is delaying the weight loss. I'm not an expert (learning something new every day with these boards) but It's a little odd that you're dropping inches but not the pounds but please don't be disheartened.0
