What is this? I would be interested in learning all about this and possibly doing it.0
-
What are you exactly doing OP and what does it acheive?0
-
Cleansing and detoxification are just moronic. It was a term started to market weight loss products to naïve people and it stuck around . can you please tell me exactly what your trying to detox or cleanse ?0
-
Yeah not looking for a cleanse per say that they market but thinging a cleanse from clean eating type of thing.0
-
Say no to cleanses! Realize that you have a liver and kidneys!0
-
You won't get a lot of support for any kind of cleanse here OP, whether it be a specific product that someone sold you like skinny tea, a concoction you make yourself like the master cleanse prescribes, or any other kind of cleanse.
The reason is that you don't need a "cleanse" or "detox", your body does that for you naturally.
What exactly were you hoping to accomplish with your cleanse, weight loss? If so, set an appropriate calorie deficit, log everything you eat and drink (preferably weighing your food with a scale), focus on primarily nutrient dense foods but don't be afraid to incorporate treats as they fit into your calorie goals, exercise if you like, eat back a percentage of those exercise calories, and have patience.0 -
So what do you mean by "clean" eating?
All my food is clean, as in it's just come out of the package or wrap or I've washed the fruits/veggies.
If you mean "I'm eating lower on the food chain, and few processed foods", that's healthy.
If you mean you're avoiding any particular food or food group, that's not healthy (unless there's a medical problem).
As to how you can see others' diaries, they have to be open - either to everyone, or to friends (in which case they
have to accept your friend request).

Here are other useful pots. Definitely read sexypants a few times.

"Most weight loss occurs because of decreased caloric intake.
However, evidence shows the only way to maintain weight loss is to be engaged in regular physical activity."

You don't need a cleanse. Unless you've been eating dirt and twigs.0
-
If you have functioning kidneys, and a functioning liver.....there is no need for a cleanse. These are just a popular diet fad.
"Clean" eating is not necessary for weight loss. If you don't intend to eat "clean" for the rest of your life, there is no point really. Because after the "clean" eating kick ....you will go back to regular foods....then you're digestive track will just be "dirty" again.
Detox teas - have laxatives in them (senna?). Laxative weight loss is not FAT loss.0 -
It'll take about 10 days to clean my basement. I'm in!0
-
I wouldn't recommend it.
A waste of healthy eating time.
Just exercise more, and learn how to manage and set your macros to maximize your calorie intake for the body comp or weight loss results you want.
Don't Quit!0
