If I gave in to every single craving I had, I wouldn't be anywhere near my goal right now! I crave regularly (sometimes really WEIRD foods) because I have an enourmous appetite! I don't deprive myself of something I genuinely want and I tend to listen to my body but most of my cravings are just trolling me! I find something to distract me and read a book or something!

You need to pick and choose your battles. I save room for ONE sweet snack everyday. But it's at the end of the day (after) I have had a controlled day. I won't be sugar free forever, so I will have to deal eventually.0 -

I drank 3 20 ounces pepsis, eat chocolate, chips and patries up to 242. A blood sugar spike had be quit cold turkey. I lost 15 pounds in 48 days eating no sugar or fake sugar or low fat. I think that's a chemical storm. 17 days in I started craving vinegary vegan foods I ate off of the salad bar at work instead of the chef's sald I was treating myself with. I still want Lindt chocolate, but the pepsi's don't call like they used to as time goes guy. I wouldn't answer anyway. On 1600 calories I can't afford any liquid calories in my diet.

Now instead of 365 feast days a year I have one feast meal a month at a festival. State Fair, Rennaissance Fair, County Fair, Thanksgiving, CHristmas, New Years, etc. I logged all the lucious foods I could have in on New Years day and selected the ones I would eat. I've already planned Thanksgiving and its TINY piece of pumpkin pie.0

I purchase it at my church's bazaar because if I made one I would eat the whole thing. I take the smallest piece there. And after bites 1, 2 3 when its doesn't take as good anymore, pour salt on it so you can't eat the rest.0

I'd budget some carbs for before bed - maybe something like strawberries that taste very sweet but in actuality have very little sugar. (4 grams in 3 ounces.)
What are your exact ratios? If you are Low Carb, so is nvmomketo, and there is also the Low Carb group http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group
Also try the pickle thing lemurcat suggested.

Not a bulk, I've already shredded about 8 pounds of "fluff" so to speak. I am toning and slowly making progress coming off of my bulk. Thank you for the cool whip and fruit suggestion!Are you actually doing a bulk, where you will gain new muscle but also fat or are you trying to "tone up" by lifting where you get muscle efficiency?
If you are bulking you will gain muscle and fat, regardless of what you eating. As a women you would probably see 75% fat gains and 25% muscle assuming you are not eating a huge surplus.
If you are bulking, sugar (especially detrose post workout) may be beneficial to growth as, the sugar will replish glycogen quickly allowing protein to rebuild your muscles.
Either way my sugary snack is either a klondike or fruits with cool whip..
I won't eat past 8pm. My body isn't active at the period of time, but hey,maybe late eating isn't as bad as I've learned.. I'll give it a shot..I was going to suggest fitting something sweet at night into your calorie goal, but since you believe eating things at night will make you fat, just nevermind.

Actually, my carb intake is pretty high, carbs give me a quick boost for high intensity interval training, strawberries sound like they might be worth a try. Thank you so much!.

I read somewhere that if you are craving sugar, you need energy. Greek yogurt mixed with almonds works for me.0

Since you're going through a cut, what are the macros you're looking to hit? Are you implementing any sort of IF regime and/or calorie cycling?
A lot of people here are more focused on those that have a lot of weight to lose already, not those going through bulk/cut cycles. How you manipulate your macros most certainly can produce different results, especially for those that are already fairly lean to begin with. Oftentimes, when you're at that point, you need something extra in how you manipulate the deficit to see best results.
What I've found best for sugar cravings are four things: (1) upping my protein intake (that tends to kill a lot of cravings), (2) getting most of my carbs from "whole" sources (really keeping the processed and fast acting carbs to a minimum and focus on veggies and fruits primarily), (3) shifting calorie intake to later in the day (I find if I IF by skipping breakfast and eating a big dinner, I rarely have late night cravings and I just don't crave stuff in the morning) and if none of that works (4) hard candy. It provides something I can suck on for a while but not actually ingest that many carbs -- but they are purely fast absorbing sugar carbs, so keep that in mind.0 -
I usually just eat an apple (or two). Knocks out the sweet craving right away.0

Well if you came off a bulk, and now on a cut then you are losing weight (just for semantics). Watching macros is just an additional thing many of us do to achieve goals (aka more protein to maintain muscle mass). People werent trying to be snarky but rather trying to get clarification.
What are your macros at?
Also, even if you are inactive, your body is not. Its always burning calories running your systems (or digesting food). So there is no reason to put restrictions on nutrient timing unless you get indigestion.
Also, the reason i asked about bulking is carbs tend to be more required during a bulking, especially moreso post workout as they can help replenish glycogen, allowing protein to repair muscle mass. Now that you are in a cut, concentrating on protein will be more beneficial. Personally, while cutting i do moderate protein (hitting 1g per lb of lbm) and a bit higher carb. Fats dont fill me up so much and they are a lot higher in calories. I up my fats during bulks just because its an easy way to hit over 3k calories.
