Recently joind MRP a few days ago. After having a kid and switching to a desk job I am not quite as firm as I sused to be. So here I am trying to lose a few pounds while becoming more fit and toned. Oh, I also joined a gym for the first time in life about a month ago and have been attending a few times a wek. Would love to meet some friends on MFP to help encourage and motivate one another with our goals!

Cheers!
Jen

Thanks! I'm already noticing the impact it makes! It's also really astonishing to see how certain "healthy" snacks stack up.

Yep, the acronym I've noticed around here is CICO (Calories In Calories Out). CI<CO = Loss, CI>CO = Gain. At the most basic level, that's pretty much the weight loss formula.

I'm a complete noob to this! As far as your desk job goes everyone says go for stairs versus the elevator, or sit on a yoga ball instead of a rolly chair to support
Your back. Lol it's the little things
