combining fitbit w/ MFP

I have a desk job, so my calories on MFP are set for a sedentary job (1200 calories a day). I am walking 10K steps a day. Normally I just log in walking 3 miles per day for 45 minutes as my exercise (which I do on lunch breaks), but I don't add in anything additional from fitbit even if I hit 10K or more each day.
Should I change anything for optimal weight loss? How are YOU combining the two for good results?
