Benefits of Green Tea for weigh loss , I have read a alot about it but anybody experience it first hand ?

    I drink 3 cups a day. I don't know if it helps, but I find it very soothing mentally to sit and just drink it.

    I drink it when I'm craving something sweet (I sweeten my tea with stevia) or if I'm hungry/have the munchies....it works to satisfy me most of the time....keeps me on track.

    What I've read has been conflicting on the benefits of green tea for weight loss. Although the antioxidant benefit is generally agreed upon.

    Curious to what others have to say.

    I honestly don't believe it, but I do drink it every day because it's so much healthier than coffee but it still gives you just a little boost to get you going in the morning. As for the weight loss thing, all I can say is that drinking any warm liquid is gonna make your stomach feel fuller and decrease cravings, but that's about it.

    I drink green ice tea because it gives me a little caffeine boost but has no calories like soda does and I dont drink coffee. That in and of itself will help with weight loss as it has no calories. However, ever since I started drinking the green tea, my cholesterol levels have improved dramatically. So, I look at that as a benefit as well. Just thought I'd share.:smile:
