Hello, my name is Tessa and it's good to be back on MFP again. It's been a long time (a really long time) since I last used MFP and to be honest, I gave up and went back into my old bad habits. Since then I've gained weight, and when I finally weighed myself it hit me. "23 years old weighing at 293lbs" I was scared for my life and so I made changes in my life to better myself.
I changed the way I eat and drink, I work out and basically changed my life style for being healthier. I recently completed the Insanity challenge and I now weigh in at 265lbs. My goal is to lose a 100lbs by next year. I know it may seem out of reach but I know I could do it. I plan on staying committed and so MFP was the best thing to come back into because the community here is so supportive and so motivated.
I wish everyone on their weight loss journey good luck and that we all reach our health and fitness goals.

Wow that's so amazing. You've already lost 28 lbs! Last year I was on here and I ended up losing 30 lbs. I've gained it all back and today I've decided to start over again. I'm 19 but in March I'm gunna be 20 and I was hoping to be out of the 200s by then. I'm really looking to pick up a friend or two on here to keep my motivated and to vent too! Let me know if you wanna talk or share0

I am trying to get out of the 200s by next year as well. It's hard starting all over at first but its better to start over than not starting at all. We should motivate and help each other^^0 -

Thank you so much! And I will^^ I am not going back to how I was before. That 293lbs was a wake up call for me. Even though I am at 265lbs I am feeling and looking a lot better than before0
