Mine is being able to fit into prettier clothes. It seems like the smaller sizes are just cuter.

    That!

And being able to buy clothes off the rack in regular stores instead of having to dig out the big girl sizes.

And getting my confidence back - not feeling like I'm constantly being judged for being the big girl.

I want to go into vintage stores and pick a dress off the rack and rock it. Women were so slim in 1940-50s!!

Muscle definition! I have reasonable muscle mass and it's glorious to see it revealed as the fat comes off.

Being able to buy the clothes I actually want, instead of settling for the ones that "work."

Yeah, definitely the whole clothes thing mentioned many times above. I think just the general feeling better about myself. More confidence, NOT feeling like everyone is staring or snickering behind my back. It amazes me how differently people treat me already in my journey. At my heaviest it seemed like people would divert their eyes, I didn't get a thank you when I would hold the door open for people and seldom did anyone hold it for me. I actually get smiles from people now.

Being a beast with any fun thing I put my mind to. Climbing, kayaking, backpacking, swimming, running, etc etc. I feel like the soft cushy exterior removes that beastly strength aspect haha. Also having the strength and endurance to be a great asset to a research team for internships or upon graduation.

Aaand I'd be lying if I didn't say I want to be able to walking into the room looking damn fine in some cute clothes with some rockin' muscles underneath it all. Haha.

I am really loving that I do not get sick as often. I'm a teacher, so it's important for me to be healthy.

I am so with you on the clothes aspect. For the first time ever, I was able to confidently try on a Halloween costume in a L, and had to have my fiancé go grab a M. Best part is, I actually felt cute in it instead of just "okay."

To get pregnant. The doctor said that weight loss would help. Kinda iffy on the thought because I have a sister in law that is at 315 and recently got pregnant, but whatever will help me and my husband is something worth trying.
    Plus I want cute clothes.

Smaller shirts. When I fold laundry or have my daughter fold laundry, it's embarrassing to have my shirts look like ship sails.

I'll never wear a bikini, but I'm looking forward to not leaving such a huge butt print on the sand at the beach.

And having a smaller shadow. My husband and my kids will have these LONG SLIM shadows, and I look thinking how thin mine will look, and it still eclipses the sun. LOL!

Running without anything flopping around, and without dying after a minute. Clothes for sure; second hand shops tend to not stock larger sizes (do people not donate?). Being more active over-all and feeling a lot more confident and strong!

I spent a lot of money on plus size clothes. Bigger people really get punished by higher prices. So I wore them until they were unusable. I suspect that's much the same for many people who buy the bigger sizes and the reason there isn't a lot to be found in thrift stores.

Since I'm down to my last few pounds, I'm actually looking forward to a bulk/gaining. Never thought I'd say THAT.

I'm looking forward to being lighter than my boyfriend - feels like the way it should be. Actually I recently kind of hit this goal but he's been saying he'd like to drop 10lbs so I won't feel securely smaller til I drop 10 more too to stay ahead of him lol.

I'm glad everyone seems to be on a clothes consensus here! Especially @ditsyblond17, hello $3 rack.

@jaqcan - I've never really thought about my shadow before. But technically something is eclipsing the sun everytime there's a shadow! Lol! But I get your meaning.

I can remember the last time I worked out for a few months 4X/week for 1 hr (was taking classes), I could feel the difference in my clothes. I'm looking forward to that feeling again!

I seriously can't stand myself naked right now, don't care if someone else is fine with it, if I'm not, it's going to bug me. So yeah. Looking forward to being happy naked.

@Azuriaz - totally get that. If you don't feel comfortable, all the compliments in the world aren't going to change that emotion for you. I want to get there too!

I am looking forward to NOT getting lectured by my dad every week about my weight.

Also the clothes things. You would think with how much extra they charge for plus size, the clothes would at least be made to last... @nyponbell I believe the reason you cannot find clothes second hand is because the plus-size clothing options are crap quality.
