More energy, better health, and being able to buy cheaper clothes! I can never get anything on a clearance rack because I'm the most common size at the moment ( AUS 16). Next size down I'm always seeing cheap underwear - and if I can pay $7 for a bra that's normally $30, I will take that every time.
Not feeling so self concious would be great - my husband will benefit from that kind of change as well!

It used to be the clothes. And I'm still looking forward to that shopping spree at the end of all this, but since I've had my daughter, it's the energy. I need to keep up. I tire out way to quickly to even feel like her mom sometimes.

That's the one that has made me stick with it too. :)

Amusement parks for sure, flying overseas without the fear of not fitting a seatbelt and really enjoying Summer =) I'm looking forward to being able to do more thrill seeking things too that I always felt too uncomfortable to partake in.

I seriously can't stand myself naked right now, don't care if someone else is fine with it, if I'm not, it's going to bug me. So yeah. Looking forward to being happy naked.

(That was the censored version of what I originally typed!)

I look forward to the point where my saggy old lady skin tightens.... Please please let there be a time without surgery (which is NOT an option) when I don't see elephant skin on my legs when I look in a full length mirror... I can live with the bat wings...I think. :/

I was closer to goal weight last year than this year, if it helps, I do remember my inner thighs looking a lot better. I'll never look 18 again for sure, and unless I win the lottery I won't be getting surgery either, but being thinner helps. One of the distressing things about bouncing back up the scale over the past year has been my thighs!

Oh, and filling that space that had the fat back up with muscle from riding my bike and running helped, too!

Being confident, healthy, being able to run around with my step daughter without being red in the face ha. Hopefully being healthy and fit when the time comes to have my own little ones :). Also being confident in bed for my man :)

For me I have annoying allergy symptoms that make every morning a mess. I know these go away at around 185, from prior experience. The first time I experienced that it was a total suprise - I'd never realized that waking up sniffling and needing to blow my nose 10 times was due to my weight!

I am looking forward to NOT getting lectured by my dad every week about my weight.

Also the clothes things. You would think with how much extra they charge for plus size, the clothes would at least be made to last... @nyponbell I believe the reason you cannot find clothes second hand is because the plus-size clothing options are crap quality.

I'm Sorry your dad gives you a hard time :( you have already accomplished a lot! You look great keep up the good work!!! Remember the only person to impress is yourself <3

I want to go into vintage stores and pick a dress off the rack and rock it. Women were so slim in 1940-50s!!

THIS.. in the 1940s anything over a 27/ 28 waist was 'volup'!

Not feeling self conscious in my dance class. All the other girls are size 4-8... I'm an 16/18 right now. I still enjoy the class, it just messes with my confidence when I start watching myself in the mirror next to some of them.

@Jessyd76 - I'll tell you what my ex told me: at least you know it works because you can see the results they have doing it! Try to see it as where you'll be eventually rather than feeling bad that it's not where you are now.

Being healthy and strong and confident -- not constantly afraid of hurting myself with physical activities...And being able to buy clothes!

Not hurting myself is a big one. I just hope goal weight will take enough of the burden off to let me be really free. I don't have as much to lose as I once did by any means, but that extra really holds me back as far as my knees and spine are concerned.

I also would like to look better in pictures, and feel stonger and healthy and toned up.
I think maybe there aren't many larger clothes in thrift stores is maybe because people are holding on to them, they are used to their weight going up and down every few years and keep them. I am getting rid of all mine. I would also like to feel more confident with myself.
