Water Weight Right?

Basically starting weight from 5 days ago is 170 and from there I've only been working out and eating 1700 calories a day and my maintenance is 1800.. The workout burns 300 - 400 from there so 1400 then. (estimate).

Anyhow 2 days ago I checked and it said 175 pounds... then yesterday 180 and now today 185 so I'm sitting here confused as hell... I swear water weight was only 2 - 5 pounds.. not 15.

How do you know your eating only 1700 calories?
Your diary is empty, so I'm curious as to how you are determining that is what you are eating.

A pound is 3500 calories. For you to gain 15 pounds of fat you would had to over eat by 52k calories.

That's 10k extra a day if your looking at 5 days.

    Your scales battery running low?

Because I eat the same thing everyday and previously when I Was trying to lose weight I already logged it.

    Literally Tuna (120Calories), Solid Cheddar Cheese(200), Slice Cheese(50), Mayonaise(200), White Bread (190=2slices).

    And the second thing would be either egg(80 - 100), butter ( 100 ), cheese ( 50 ) , bread(190).

It's the same food from when I did calorie deficit. Only difference now is that I workout as well.

Yeah it doens't make crap sense, I feel the scale is broken. It's like 15 years old and the "tick" .. The tick also needs to be slid, its like a wheel.. very old fashioned so I think ima just try to buy a new one... cause I barely eat that much

Forgetting the misery of that diet at the moment...

There are a lot of holes in there. How do you know you're getting exactly 120cal of tuna every time? Even the stuff in the tins is not going to be the same every time. Again, with the solid cheddar cheese. Needs to be weighed. Even cheese slices can weigh differently. How are you measuring out the mayonnaise? Could fluctate wildly. Your bread slices won't be the same weight every day. Eggs vary in size and need to be weighed, butter needs to be weighed...and they need to be weighed on a digital scale.

Plus, that breakdown adds up to 1200, not 1700.

In this instance, her diary has nothing to do with it. 15 lbs is either (a) a broken scale or low batteries or (b) a medical condition, likely cardiac in origin) that is causing extreme water retention and requires immediate medical attention.

With that said, OP, she makes a point. Your diary lacks some nutritional components that you may need and you man see some negative effects from that.

Factoring into it could also be overestimating burnt calories during workouts.

Thanks guys, I will change up what I eat to make sure it's more nutrient and stuff and also pick up a new scale while i'm at it; I'm also going to just log whatever I eat as well.. By the way this morning I checked myself on the scale again and it seems to have went back down to normal, it's at 172 from 185 so I don't really know what it was.
