I dont know, but i went from 130 to 114 lbs in 3 months. And im trying to get back to at least 120-125. I am 5 ft 4. Im a housekeeper so i know that caused some of my weight loss. But a lot of my co-workers can maintain their weight and im wondering why cant I!!. I want to get back to my goal weight which is 125. Then once i get there i want to maintain the weight. For some reason i dont eat my 3meals a day anymore. I downloaded fitness pal to remind me to eat and it does just that and i still cant bring myself to eat. And i feel the hunger but its like i ignore it and i dont want to lose weight i want to gain it BACK.. And i cant for the life of me understand whats wrong! Any advice on how i can focus on eating my 3 meals a day plus more? Thanks in advance

Why do you ignore the hunger when you feel it? Is part of you afraid to gain weight?0

I guess i feel the hunger but dont have the appetite to eat and im not sure why. Thats mainly why im constantly losing weight instead of gaining it. I guess what i need to know is how can i get a better appetite.0

The only way to gain weight is to eat more. Unfortunately if you are not eating that is all it comes down to. I'm sure you can do it.0

how can you be hungry and not have the appetite to eat at the same time?
I would suggest setting MFP to a .5 per week gain and eat to that number. Calorie dense foods like ice cream, bagels, cookies, rice, etc, are your friends. Just make sure that you are meeting micronutrient needs first and then fill in with what you like.0 -
Cook with healthy oils so that you are getting calories / fats without feeling over-stuffed. Add nut butters, avocado, etc. You simply have to eat more. It's really just math.0

No expert here, but I find if I let myself feel hungry too long I lose my appetite.
Something to try is making a note of how long after your last meal you start to feel hungry, then plan to eat 15 min before that time the next meal.
If, because of your job you can't try that, having a small snack, a banana, cookie, whatever is easy, at about the halfway mark between meals will let you reach your next meal time without the hunger/no appetite feeling.
Just a couple of tricks I use to eat more during the day.

Do you not have the appetite or are you used to dieting and force yourself to hold off? If you want to gain weight, you have to be willing to either eat more frequently or eat high calorie foods often. And while there is no need to eat 3 meals a day, if you don't then your meals will either have to be large, very high calorie or both.
In the end, if you truly want to gain, then you have to put in the work.0
