Is eating several large leaves of raw green cabbage as a snack a good weight loss / diet option in terms of carbs, sugars, calories etc?

Do you like raw cabbage? Do you find it curbs your hunger?
It's low calorie, high fiber, lots of vitamin C, so if you like it and it actually curbs your hunger for a while, it's hard to see a down side.

Personally I like it steamed than raw...but I do enjoy coleslaw sometimes. Its just that raw cabbage doesnt always like ME. Hense the reason for my "Beano" tablet bottle by my vitamins.

Here in China cabbage is considered a health food and they serve it as a side dish at a lot of places. It's sooo good stir-fried (usually with garlic and ginger) and I'd definitely recommend it as it's quite filling but not a lot of calories! Great snack

Yes! I really like "chunks" of raw cabbage that I just cut off of the head since it fills me up with very few calories and carbs is good in fiber & other nutrients & curbs my desire to eat something crunchy rather than pretzels.
