Isagenix Yes or No

Yes! I have lost 48 pounds and have been on Isagenix for about 6 months. I started using it after I plateaued on my weight loss. It is a meal replacement system. So if you aren't great at counting calories, (which isn't that why the majority of us ended up here?), this is an easy to use program that works.0

The question is why did most of you try it? Use it, then stop? I've been on the system for 8 months. Eat loads, have one shake a day and exercise moderately. I went on it to gain some much need energy for my heavy demands in a day. In the process it exceeded all my expectations and tough me how to eat CLEAN and crave CLEAN.
The idea is that in our world everything is tainted by humans and as a farmer I know to well what you ingesting and it's not pretty. Our foods are nutrient deprived and as much as you'd like to its hard and expensive to go organic. Which would be great but in this fast paced world we live in its very if not impossible to eat and even find water that's not exposed to human manipulation. I also lost my mummy tummy that three doctors told me wouldn't go away without surgery. Happy, healthy and strong. Diets are unsustainable, like holding your breath while you feel your energy leave & the fat deposits just go up and down teasing you onto the merry go round of yo yo dieting. That's my opinion. If I can't get organic I'll keep my products.2 -

I started using it because I have poor eating habits and travel a lot for work so I eat crap because it's convenient. This system is easy, costs the same as subway, less than MacDonalds but controlled calorie intake. I cycle between my use of isagenix and normal eating. I usually do at least two cleanse days to get me back on track. After about two weeks, junk is outta my system and I'm back to eating healthy regular meals again. It's better than slim fast or instant breakfast and costs about the same. It doesn't taste fantastic, but I've tasted worse. Find a consultant and get a sample to try. I honestly feel better when I do follow it.
oh wow, thats really expensive way to lose weight. thankfully its been effective for you and taste not too bad. what do the cleanses do for you?0 -

I don't think you'll get any answers to the questions you ask, since the OP is from 2012. But way to bump an old thread to promote your business! :drinker:

OP I would take the advice from those two 'posters' with a grain of salt. they have signed up today and their only posts are in this topic. Very suscpious. It's quite common for companies to Google themselves and respond as posters while not disclosing they work for the company involved.
Yep. Also, I'm not paying $300 a month for a shake I could probably make myself for less than half that.0 -

Save your money, set up your MFP profile, and lose weight on your body and not your wallet. Check out IIFYM, which is basically eat what you like, just as long as it fits your calories and macros. I am doing this and am losing weight
Edit: Ah, crap...stupid companies bumping up stupid topic. Sorry!
Oh....Warning! Warning! Wall of text alert. Ugh.trevyncarter1 wrote: »I love it! Honestly. No gimmick. Try it if you want (they offer a 100% money back guarantee), and don't try it if you don't. I have personally signed up 21 people. And no, I didnt try to. People around town noticed I lost weight and asked what I had done. One girl sent it back after 4 days because she had headaches. Not everyone will love this product, but it DOES work. I had another lady on it who was nursing. She couldnt do the complete 30 day system because of this. On the shakes, bars and Want More Energy, she only lost 9 pounds in 27 days. She wasn't satisfied with her results, she sent it back, and her money was refunded. The rest of the people, including myself, have loved it. I was skeptical at first, but I tried it anyway. My first month I lost 27 pounds and 43 inches! I have not gained anything back! And no, I dont always eat healthy and I enjoy a glass of wine nightly...sometimes a beer! I continue with my one shake a day, because I love the vanilla ones blended with fruit for breakfast. I dont do, nor have a done, the back to back cleanse days. They ARE optional and Isagenix tells you a number of ways to do them. A lot of athletes just drink the cleanse after a workout. Some drink it every night before bed. Yes, some do two straight cleanse days in a row, but its not mandatory for it to work. Not trying to sell it, just giving my honest opinion. I cant claim that Isa with solve, help or cure any medical conditions. But I can tell you I have been treated for Migraines for the last 15 years! I have also had to take some sort of sleep aide for Insomnia for the last 11 or 12 years. Ever since starting Isa, I no longer have a problem with either. I have seen specialist after specialist and had to sit through blood tests, MRIs and even had my diet changed on multiple occasions with no success...until Isa. I will agree, the Ionix tastes horrible!!! They say you either love it or hate it. I have still yet to come across anyone who loves it. I do the liquid now instead of the powder. Its concentrated and I can shoot it down. I can definitely tell when I dont take it. As far as reading stuff online. The people who used it and it didnt work, they didnt do it correctly or they didnt use it long enough. The other people are just bashing it because it works and they think they have a better, cheaper way. There is a reason so many Doctors, athletes and Person Trainers use and recommend it. Because it works. People really do have overall health benefits. Many get off of medications they have been on for YEARS! The bottom line it...try it, or dont. But dont listen to what I say vs the next person. Find a nutritional plan that works for you, that you are willing to stick with. You only get one body. You can either be healthy and live longer in it, or you can feed it crap and feel bad every day. Our bodies are perfectly designed machines. If you don't feel great everyday, you're doing something wrong, and something needs to change.

Well done bumping a necro thread. If food is nutrient deprived, why are all my blood tests coming out so well? I'm not deficient in anything, and I don't need supplements to do it.0 -
Thats crazy. I dont even spend that much a month for groceries for two adults including drinks..Ok so you spend over 3 thousand dollars a year for this? Lmao!!! Thats more then a membership for 2 years at our local gym including a personal trainer for 3 months.0

Just to clarify they are regulated by the FDA like food, so they need be produced in a safe manner (not be adulterated). They are not regulated as drugs, hence the disclaimers on supplements that they are not to treat or cure illness or disease.

The FDA does not approve or in any way regulate supplements, actually.0 -

A big huge no!!!!! I did it for months and as soon as you go back to eat normal food the weight comes back on! I don't care what anyone says from here on in.....eating regular food in the proper amounts and getting good protein, carbs and fats is the way we are meant to feed our bodies. Drinking two shakes a day and adding in all the other stuff they try to make you believe that you need is a waste of money and just not normal. Sorry for the rant but I felt like crap on it and everyone I knw that has done it regained when they stopped. It is not sustainable!
Its true that when you go back to "normal food"... you gain weight cuz that food contains alot of chemicals and you body doesnt know how to get rid of it... you drink shakes and eat lean cuisine meals under 400 calories....5 -

2. Skip it there's better stuff out there cheaper.1 -
I've tried their program - twice. No lasting results to speak of. For weight loss - it comes down to the 2-day "cleanse" once a week. Of course, you'll lose weight, you aren't getting the calories you need. I only spend about $100 per month on groceries - so financially I really thought it was a complete waste.
