how fast (treadmil)

what speed do you have it set on thats a brisk pace walk for you?

    3.8-4.0 is a brisk walk for me!!

    I walk at 4.5 - 5 mph usually....although when I do my 8% incline, I have to grip the handlebars! lol. When flat though, I just go at it arms pumping! :)

    I am short so about 3.5 to 3.8 is fast for me.

    6-6.2kph is a pretty quick walk for me.

    I'm also at the 3.8 to 4.0. By the time I get to 4.5 I have to jog. I'm 5'5". You may be able to go faster if you have longer legs.

    Ditto. Anything over 4.2 and I have to jog. Anything under 3.8 and I can't get my HR up --- UNLESS I set the incline up to 5% or higher - then I can do 3.5 - 4.0 for a brisk walk.

    PS - I'm 5'4" so your "mileage" may vary if you are significantly taller or shorter.

    Brisk for me is anywhere from 3.0-4.0 depending on the day and how I feel lol. I'm also short and have short stride but I like to move fast and get my heartrate up:) Good luck~

    Me too.

    I usually jog at around 4.5-4.9, and I am full out sprinting at 5.0-5.4. I hate when I sneak a peak at others and they are leisurely jogging at 6.0 or higher!

    I can burn a solid 400 calories in 60 minutes at 3.5mph and 3.5-4% incline. That gives me 3.106 miles (5K)

    4.0 mph for me is the point where I am at a brisk walk. Any faster and it turns into a light jog.
