I really don't want to sound mean. But weight loss isn't linear. It comes in waves and some weeks you won't lose. Some weeks you will actually gain! Log accurately and you'll be fine.

What height are you OP? Only 9st 6lb now and wanting to lose 20lbs sounds to low to me.

On the weight loss thing, it is just one week. It will happen, sometimes you'll gain. Salt in take, carb intake and hormones all play a part. As long as you are logging your food intake correctly and are staying within your calorie allowance your weight will trend downwards.

Keep eating at a deficit and working out. It will take some time.

At 5'6" and 9stone 6lbs, losing 20lbs would put you underweight with a bmi of 18.1.

Not understanding that weightloss isn't linear coupled with unrealistic goals is not a good combination.

The _only_ way to lose weight is to eat less than you burn.
How did you get so thin in the first place? By eating less than you burn.

Why do you want to be underweight? :frowning::confused:
Eat at a healthy amount of calories, aim for a healthy weight based on BMI & consultation with your doctor,
    and start (or increase) weightlifting.

Are you daft or intentionally giving crappy advice?

Have you thought about interval fasting? It can help break plateaus.

Cycling through calorie levels helps, you should eat more for a couple of days and then go back to your regular limit.

Yes, that has helped me before.

For the last two posters (Edit ... three) .. the OP is seeking an underweight goal and your advice does not address the simple fact that she was impatient and not realizing that loss is not linear.

Weight loss is not linear is the best answer in this thread. I'd care more about this debate if the OP wasn't long gone by now.

    Yep, yep.

Lol she asked for help on how to start losing weight again I think she wanted a more helpful answer than "weight loss is not linear". We are not here to play Dr.phil if a person wants to reach a goal that's up to them, I'm sure she's grown.

She's gone (account deactivated) and supporting unhealthy goals is not support, it is enabling. If you don't understand the difference, do some homework and learn.

Yeah. I guess it's still helpful for other users browsing the forums.

Stick with it. It's not uncommon to go a week without losing (or even two, three or more weeks) and then drop a bunch of pounds in the next week. People call that kind of loss "a whoosh" and it's awesome when it happens.

Hang in there. Keep plugging along and it will happen. :)
