I took before pictures tonight....

Just for my own records, I took before pictures tonight, and measurements, tomorrow my husband and I are starting 10 MinuteTrainer, and I'll add in some Zumba for Wii too. I'm excited for change, but man, seeing those pictures, and those numbers, it was painful, I am so sad that I did this to myself! The day I brought our last baby home from the hospital I was 120 pounds heavier then I was when I met my husband 9 years ago.
I'm trying to focus on the postitve, this time I WILL succeed!!
Just wanted to share, it was a big step to take.

I haven't had the nerve to take before pictures... I probably won't. I totally understand the feelings you are feeling. I hope you can look back at those photos and say how far you've come one day. One day at a time....0

Your numbers sound similar to mine. Good luck to you!0

Here's to you taking "after" pics sometime soon!!! :flowerforyou:0

I took my before pictures last night. I got a bit teary while looking at them cos I've gotten so out of hand lately. But we're in the right place to fix this. We really are.0

Yeah, those before pictures are painful! It's just a first step. Breathe, and jump right in. If you have 24 hour fitness gyms in your area I would suggest them. You can get a membership at Costco for only 12.50 a month, and all the classes, pool, sauna, and steam room are included. Plus you can take the kids to kids club for only $15 more a month usually. Gives you and them both a break! And the Body Pump and Zumba classes are AWESOME! I burn 1200 calories or more at Body Pump each time I take it.0

Its a good step! You will actually like being able to look back and see how far you've come. You can do this!0

Hang in there.....I started my journey with 145 lbs of excess weight and I'm getting better every day! You'll get there too. Before you know it, you'll turn around and won't recognize yourself in the mirror! I wish you the best on your journey! :flowerforyou:0

You can do this! Best of luck!0

I REALLY wish I would have taken before pictures but I was so embarrassed of myself I wouldn't let anyone or even do it myself! I think in the back of my mind I thought I was going to fail anyway so it wasn't necessary. But now I really wish I would have!0

I took before pictures, on the day I started with my trainer. I'm soooo glad I did. Even though I'm down almost 30 pounds, sometimes I fall back into my 'I'm still fat, I don't see the progress' mood. When I do, I look at my before and current pics side by side, and realize how far I've come. You'll be so happy when you look back in a few months.0

Funny you posted this because I was just about to take some "before" pictures too. Great job taking that step, the numbers can be painful but it's kind of like looking at your monthly bills... it feels better to know where you stand and what steps you can take instead of just going blindly. lol I don't know, that analogy just makes sense to me :-P But anyway, good for you and great attitude!! You WILL be successful0

Thanks for the support and encouragement I cannot wait for some after pics!!!

I haven't taken before pictures yet, but was working out last night and took a good long look at myself in the mirror. Was absolutely mortified that I let myself go this far. But squared my shoulders and said well, this is the time to make that image change. So good luck to you. Those after pics will be awesome!!!!0
